We represent a highly regarded german multinational, a chemical manufacturer of specialty additives. They built a presence in over 40 countries and are a technology-driven organization with manufacturing plants across Germany, USA, Australia, and Asia.
The italian branch has been established in recent years and its small team is growing rapidly, that's why they are now looking for an experienced professional to take over the financial side of the business .
The role will report directly to the CEO and ensure the smooth and compliant running of the italian side of the business, as well as future improvement across all departments. Job Key Responsibilities:
Being in charge for accounting activities including E-Invoicing, payments monthly closing, etc.
Reporting within the legal entity about financial results, cash flow, past due situation, etc.
Managing the backlog situation, inventory monitoring, purchasing of products at the German plants, etc.
Liasing with the headquarters about management topics, identifying fields to be improved.
Working cross-functionally across teams (Sales, Finance, Operations, Technical Support).
Overseeing financial performance, budgets, and reporting, ensuring profitability and cost-efficiency.
Cash-Flow management according to financial obligations.
Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies (health & safety, SUP, REACH, etc.)
Job Requirements:
Proven experience in Accounting / Controlling / Financial Planning
Experience with SAP systems and CRM tools.
Experience managing P&L and driving business growth.
Strong understanding of corporate governance, legal responsibilities, and risk management.
Good command of the English language (German will be considered a plus).
