Your Responsibilities
DSP Algorithm Development: Design, simulation, and optimization of digital signal processing algorithms for communication systems using MATLAB/Simulink (filters, modulation/demodulation, synchronization, equalization).
Statistical Signal Processing: Development and validation of statistical estimation algorithms (e.g., DOA estimation, SNR estimation, spectrum estimation).
HW/SW Collaboration: Work closely with FPGA and embedded software engineers to define algorithm specifications and interface requirements.
System Validation & Testing: Perform system-level simulations to verify performance against project requirements and identify potential improvements.
Documentation: Prepare technical reports, simulation models, and automated testing scripts to support the development process.
Essential Qualifications
Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
Proven experience in MATLAB/Simulink for DSP simulations.
Strong understanding of digital communication principles (modulation, coding, synchronization, filtering).
Solid background in statistical signal processing and parameter estimation (e.g., DOA, SNR, PSD).
Experience in algorithm optimization, verification, and validation.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team with FPGA and embedded software engineers.
Nice to Have
Experience with Python for simulation automation and testing.
Knowledge of RF or satellite communication protocols.
Basic understanding of FPGA/RTL constraints to support HW implementation.
Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
Prior experience in system-level simulations for communication systems.
