In bocca al lupo!Location: Milan, ItalySector: Data Centres (Mission Critical)Salary: Competitive + Package (Dependent on Experience)Employer: International Main ContractorThe OpportunityA leading international contractor delivering large-scale data centre projects across Europe is seeking Design Coordinators to join a major live scheme in Milan.We are recruiting for two key disciplines:Design Coordinator – MEPDesign Coordinator – CSAThese roles will support the Design Manager and project delivery team, ensuring design information is coordinated, technically robust and aligned with programme requirements on a fast-track mission-critical project.Design Coordinator – MEPSuitable for candidates with experience coordinating mechanical and/or electrical design packages on complex construction projects.Key Experience:Mechanical systems (HVAC, cooling, pipework)Electrical systems (LV/MV, power distribution, switchgear)BMS, ICT and specialist data centre systems preferredCoordination between consultants, subcontractors and site teamsResponsibilities:Review and coordinate MEP design information prior to constructionManage RFIs and technical queriesEnsure design is aligned with programme and procurement schedulesCoordinate clash detection and design workshopsLiaise between consultants, subcontractors and construction teamsMonitor design deliverables and ensure timely issuanceDesign Coordinator – CSASuitable for candidates with experience coordinating civil, structural and architectural design packages.Key Experience:Structural design coordination (concrete, steel, superstructure)External works and utilitiesArchitectural detailing and finishesExperience working alongside site and commercial teamsResponsibilities:Review and coordinate xpavfwm CSA design documentationSupport technical reviews and value engineering exercisesManage drawing revisions and design changesCoordinate consultants and subcontractor design inputsEnsure buildability and compliance with project specificationsAssist in resolving technical issues during constructionRequirementsExperience working on data centre or technically complex projects preferredStrong understanding of construction sequencing and buildabilityAbility to manage multiple design packages simultaneouslyGood communication and coordination skillsEU working rights
