Required Skills:
Experience as a mechanical designer/drafter and/or relevant educational background (e.g. Mechanical/Industrial Engineering degree or technical diploma)
Software knowledge:
SolidEdge and/or similar 3D drafting software (e.g. SolidWorks, Inventor, etc.)
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
English language proficiency
Preferred Qualifications (considered a plus in candidate selection):
Professional experience in at least one of the following fields: piping, piping components, process valves, pressure vessels, actuators
Professional experience in Oil & Gas, Power, or Process industries
Knowledge of major applicable codes and standards (e.g. ASME VIII, ASME B31.x, EN 13480, EN 13445-3, API 6A)
Knowledge of materials commonly used in piping applications and related product standards
Knowledge of manufacturing and material processing methods (e.g. machining, forging, heat treatment, welding, etc.)
Experience with FEM/FEA methodologies (e.g. xrdztoy Femap with Nastran, xdwybme ANSYS Mechanical)
Knowledge of 2D drafting software (e.g. AutoCAD)
