Internship Production and Supply Chain Planner

At tesa, the Supply Chain plays a strategic global role in ensuring excellent service to our customers. As an intern in the Planning team, you will be responsible for production planning, orders scheduling and replenishment on a global scale of assigned items. You will work closely with the Team Leader and collaborate with production, demand planning and Marketing to help balance service levels, production efficiency, and profitability.
To support these responsibilities, you will beinvolved in the following activities:
Production planning: define a rolling production plan reviewing planned orders and converting them into production orders
Work with integrated information systems to optimize production planning and perform data analysis
Analyse sales forecasts and product consumption for assigned items
Support the achievement of service level targets while optimizing global inventory levels and production sequences
Replenishment planning: Reviewing demand situation and updating supply situation for all assigned warehouse locations
Procurement: reviewing purchase requisitions and converting them into purchase orders, as well as recording order confirmations
Maintenance of all relevant master data
Monitoring the planning, ordering, and delivery process
Management of product introduction, exchange, and phase-out processes
Good knowledge of English (at least B2) - spoken and written
Good knowledge of Italian (at least B2)
Understanding of Supply Chain processes, especially in production planning and warehouse replenishment
Proactive, results-oriented, and eager to make a difference
