A growing international company operating in the automotive sector, with a strong technical focus and a well-established presence across multiple European markets. The company is strengthening its footprint in Germany and Austria through its local subsidiary based in the Greater Frankfurt area.
The Country Manager Germany will be responsible for leading and developing the local subsidiary, driving business growth and strengthening the company’s market presence. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on commercial responsibility, managing both OEM and aftermarket customers.
- Lead and manage the German subsidiary
- Drive sales and business development activities across Germany and Austria
- Develop and execute local strategies aligned with group directives
- Manage key accounts, including OEM and aftermarket clients
- Oversee P&L, budgeting, and margin control
- Coordinate reporting activities (financial and ESG)
- Build and lead a high-performing local team
- Ensure effective communication with HQ and other group entities
- Represent the company in the market, including participation in industry events and trade fairs
We are looking to connect with a commercially driven professional with a strong technical background in the automotive sector. The ideal candidate combines business development capabilities with leadership skills and an entrepreneurial mindset, capable of scaling a local operation.
- Degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- At least 5 years of experience in leadership roles within technical-commercial organizations in the automotive sector
- Proven track record in business development and key account management
- Experience managing teams and/or local business units
- Strong understanding of OEM and aftermarket dynamics
- Fluent in English and German. Italian is a plus
- Willingness to travel (~25%)
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
