Ph3Overview /h3pContingent upon Contract Award. /ppThe Radiologic Technologist is responsible for providing a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging examinations like X-rays and computed tomography. The Radiologic Technologist provides X-Ray and CT services. This position is based in Israel. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliPerform X-Ray and CT studies ordered by staff on patients. /liliDocuments patient care services by charting in patient and department records. /liliPrepares patients for radiological procedure by positioning patient. /liliAdjusts immobilization devices moves equipment into specified positions and modifies equipment controls to set exposure factors. /liliProviding explanations of treatment and answering questions for patients. /liliMinimizes radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques using beam restrictive devices patient shielding and knowledge of exposure factors. /liliProtects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols. /liliFollows drug protocols in case of reactions to drugs such as contrast media administering first aid and using the emergency cart. /liliMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures rules and regulations. /liliActively participates in Mass Casualty exercises and events. /liliCompletes required organizational compliance education including assigned requirements that are client-specified for Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services certification or other regulatory bodies. /li /ulpThis list is non-exhaustive and the role holder may be required to undertake additional duties that are not specifically listed above. /ph3Qualifications /h3h3Basic Requirements/Certifications /h3ulliMinimum of 3 years recent experience as a Radiology Technician is required including 6 months within the last year. /liliMust have an unrestricted license and be American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certified or country of record equivalent. /liliMush have ARRT CT certification/registration or country of record equivalent. /liliCurrent certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or approved equivalent. /liliProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Electronic Medical Records (EMR). /liliExperience on a military site working as a government subcontractor or prime contractor is preferred. /li /ulh3Education Required /h3ulliMust have completed an approved Radiology Technician program leading to a Diploma Certificate or associate degree. U.S. Military Radiology Technician technical school training certification (4R0X1 68P HM-8451) or country of record equivalent may also fulfil this requirement. /li /ulh3Physical Requirements /h3ulliMust meet pre-deployment physical requirements. /liliWork involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time. /liliMay require bending stooping and lifting to 25 lbs. /li /ulh3Other Special Qualifications /h3ulliValid Passport from country of record with at least 18 months before expiration date. Must maintain a current passport during your stay in Israel. /liliAbility to obtain and maintain a required security clearance. Applicants with current clearances are preferred. /liliMust be able to relocate to Israel for the duration of the project. /liliMust be able to read write and speak English to effectively communicate. /li /ulh3Additional Information /h3pPay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
