/p pThe role will report directly to the Group Finance Director and will act as a key partner to Retail leadership across the European Region, responsible for performance steering, business partnering, and strategic decision-making across the region.
/p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Business Partnering /h3 ul liAct as a senior Finance partner to Retail and key business functions, support and influencing strategic and operational decisions through fact-based analysis /li /ul h3Performance Monitoring Analysis /h3 ul liDrive the analysis of Retail performance versus budget and forecast, identifying risks, opportunities, and key variances with reference to all Channels (Full Price, Outlet, Concession) /li liDeliver actionable insights to support decision-making and continuous performance improvement across the region /li liDrive process for new store opening, relocations, refit, ensuring financial data are a key component of business decisions /li /ul h3Financial Closing Data Governance /h3 ul liOversee and ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of monthly closing activities, in coordination with Diesel Global HQ in line with Group policies and reporting timelines /li liGuarantee reliability of financial data, acting as a key point of coordination between HQ Finance, regional teams, and local entities /li /ul h3Planning, Budgeting Forecasting /h3 ul liLead the budgeting and forecasting processes for the European Retail channel, consolidating inputs across countries and cost areas /li liValidate assumptions, challenge business inputs, and ensure robustness of financial projections /li liProvide clear visibility on financial outlook and key drivers /li /ul h3Reporting Business Insights /h3 ul liOwn and continuously enhance the Retail reporting framework, ensuring clarity, consistency, and business relevance /li liTranslate financial data into meaningful insights for senior stakeholders and Retail leadership /li /ul h3Team Leadership Coordination /h3 ul liLead, coach, and develop the EU Retail Controlling team, ensuring high-quality deliverables and strong execution /li liSet priorities, provide guidance, and contribute to key strategic initiatives at European level /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liMinimum 10+ years of experience in Business Controlling, with a strong focus on Retail Finance /li liProven experience in international and multi-store environments (fashion/luxury is a strong plus) /li liStrong track record in business partnering with senior stakeholders /li liSolid understanding of retail KPIs and store economics /li liExperience in managing and developing teams /li liDegree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or similar /li liFluent in English; additional European languages are a plus /li liAdvanced Excel and strong analytical tools knowledge /li liSAP knowledge required; familiarity with planning/reporting tools (e.g. Board, Power BI) is a plus /li liStrong leadership, communication, and influencing skills /li liStrategic mindset combined with hands-on execution /li liAbility to operate effectively in a fast-paced organization /li /ul h3What we offer /h3 ul liA Tempo pieno Permanent Contract /li liAn awesome, young and dynamic team /li liPossibility to work in the European HQ of one of the leading Italian fashion companies belonging to one of the most important luxury fashion groups /li liA generous employee discount on Diesel and OTB group Brands /li liHighly inclusive working environment /li liLunch vouchers for each working day /li /ul /p #J-*****-Ljbffr
