Your Mission MainResponsibilities: Developing and implementing short and mid-term global commodity strategies for assigned commodity group. Defining the annual saving budget identifying risk and opportunities for a given commodity, promoting and leading cost reduction activities and alternative products/solution towards internal stakeholder and Suppliers, to contribute to the overall cost reduction target. Being responsible of the tenders Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the strategic or confidential allocated commodities. Negotiate long-term contracts with global and local Suppliers. Negotiation includes lists, quality standards, prices, discount rates, duration, delivery timescales, commercial terms and conditions. For complex situations (main disengagement, etc.), supporting the team member in the supplier base management. Scouting new suppliers to comply with the category strategy and lead the qualification process developping a unique sustainable supplier base. Your Profile Education Master’s Degree in Engineering is preferred; degrees in Business or Economics will also be considered. Certifications Any Supply Chain or Purchasing certification is considered a plus (CIPS, Apics, etc). Professional Qualifications and Experience Minimum8 years in strategic sourcing in an international manufacturing company. Experience in international negotiation, contract and claim management.
