Role Description
As an experienced Business Manager for our Milan agency, you will act as a true intrapreneur responsible for developing and managing your business unit within the engineering consulting environment, ideally in IT.
Business Development
* Build and develop your own client portfolio in the Industry and/or IT sector
* Conduct phone prospecting and in-person client meetings
* Understand client challenges and propose tailored consulting solutions
* Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
* Promote Abylsen’s three engagement models (technical assistance, service center, work package)
Recruitment & Team Management
* Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to recruit top consulting engineers
* Conduct interviews and select high‑potential consultants
* Manage, support, and retain your team through active career follow‑up
* Contribute to team engagement and performance
Profit Center Management & Coaching
* Manage and optimize the profitability of your business unit
* Monitor performance indicators and drive sustainable growth
* Coach and develop a junior Business Engineer already in place
* Support the future growth of the Milan team
You will join the Italian subsidiary (created in 2021) and report directly to the Country Director.

Profile
Required Qualifications
* Master’s degree (Engineering or Business School)
* Fluent Italian and English (mandatory)
* Proven experience as a Business Manager in engineering consulting, ideally in IT
* Strong track record in business development and client acquisition
* Experience managing consultants and ideally coaching junior Business Managers
