* Lead and manage the maintenance team, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
* Perform and supervise routine and emergency maintenance tasks on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety systems.
* Plan and monitor the maintenance schedule for preventive and periodic inspections.
* Manage external suppliers and contractors for specialized and complex work, ensuring service quality and adherence to deadlines.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and technical regulations.
* Work closely with hotel management to optimize operational costs and propose innovative solutions for energy efficiency and system improvements.
* Ensure all equipment and systems are fully operational to provide guests with an optimal experience.
* Oversee and manage the maintenance department budget.
* Train and update staff on maintenance and safety procedures.
* Qualifications
* Technical diploma or equivalent professional qualifications (preferably in electrical, plumbing, or mechanical engineering).
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role, preferably within luxury hotels or high-end hospitality establishments.
* In-depth knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety systems.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
* Proficiency in maintenance management software.
* Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays, when necessary.
* Good command of the English language.
