Role DescriptionWe are looking for a Senior Cloud Backend Developer to join our cloud engineering team. You will design and build scalable serverless services in a production AWS environment, working closely with our senior international team on a platform that processes large volumes of media in real time.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and build serverless backend services using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, and DynamoDBImplement secure authentication and authorisation flows with AWS Cognito and OAuth2/OIDCBuild and maintain asynchronous processing pipelines for document and image workloadsContribute to API design and backend architecture decisionsIntegrate AI/LLM tooling to improve code quality and development workflowsParticipate in code reviews and help maintain a high engineering standard
QualificationsFluent in English / Polish5+ years of backend development, with at least 3 years in AWS serverless environmentsStrong Node.js / TypeScript / PythonAWS proficiency: Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, CognitoDynamoDB data modelling (GSI/LSI, access patterns)Python for scripting and data processingSecurity best practices: JWT, IAM, secrets managementWorking knowledge of DevOps practices — CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, and infrastructure as code
