As Head of Information Systems - Application Services, you will drive global service delivery and governance for ABB Robotics’ IS landscape. You will own the application portfolio, roadmap, and cross-functional performance, aligning IS capabilities with business strategy. You’ll lead a geographically dispersed team and coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality, compliant services. This role offers strategic influence, operational discipline, and the chance to shape how ABB Robotics scales its digital backbone in a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment. - Own and govern the application portfolio and roadmap to maximize adoption and alignment with business strategy
- Lead service delivery across internal IS teams, GBS IS units, and external suppliers, ensuring SLAs and OLAs are met
- Bridge business needs with IT by validating requirements and ensuring services meet customer expectations
- Manage financial accountability including budget ownership and cost allocation
- Ensure data quality and alignment with IPE requirements through iterative business collaboration
- Lead incident, problem, and change management to restore services within SLA targets
- Maintain IS governance through reference teams, steering committees, and vendor management
- Contribute to IS strategy with senior leaders to shape the global application roadmap
- Develop and mentor geographically dispersed teams to foster a high-performance culture
Responsabilità
- Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years IT experience in application development, configuration, deployment, and maintenance; 3+ years in global leadership role
- Proven track record as an application services leader in a complex, global organization
- Strong experience managing SLAs, OLAs, and vendor relationships in multi-supplier environments
- Experience implementing governance frameworks and scalable processes/tools
- ITIL knowledge is a plus; strong end-to-end process understanding valued
- Excellent negotiation, facilitation, and consensus-building skills
- Fluent in English with strong cross-organizational communication abilities
