Overview Assistant Manager (at the rank of Executive Officer) role at the School of Biomedical Engineering, The University of Hong Kong (HKU). Responsibilities Handle a range of undergraduate programme administration tasks including admissions, registration, timetabling, assessment, student affairs, curriculum revisions, quality assurance/enhancement and committee support. Contribute to student-centred services in teaching and learning as well as academic support matters. Work frontline to support daily operations and ensure timely delivery of quality services under tight deadlines. Qualifications A good university degree with at least 5 years’ work experience in the higher education sector or a related field. Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese; strong interpersonal, organisational, time management and problem-solving abilities. Ability to motivate team members and work effectively under pressure; appropriate level of IT knowledge. Experience in undergraduate programme management is an advantage. Terms of Appointment Two-year fixed-term appointment with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
