You will be part of the SCM Team and report to the Local SCM Manager. Position Reporting To Procurement Manager Your Responsibilities Purchase materials according to technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms, negotiating with main suppliers and periodically renewing price lists, terms, and conditions. Initiate purchase orders based on purchase requisitions, in line with standard procedures, and confirm delivery with suppliers. Track goods received to verify appropriate delivery and facilitate invoice processing. Oversee supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, lead time) and resolve performance issues. Identify and qualify new suppliers alongside supplier quality and engineering specialists. Align supplier orders with customer requirements regarding content, quality, delivery, sustainability, and price. Support bid and proposal teams by providing relevant market information and executing cost reduction projects. Establish demand forecasts with Global Category Managers, part of the Global SCM Team based in Switzerland. Candidate Requirements Technical Diploma or Degree related to engineering or economics. Experience working with enterprise resource planning systems and standard operating procedures. 2-3 years of experience in the field is preferred. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; knowledge of SAP is a plus. Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken. Strong negotiation, organizational, analytical skills, and results-oriented mindset. Collaborative, solution-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
