This position can be filled anywhere in Europe where Hitachi Energy has a location. /ph3How You'll Make An Impact /h3ulliLead the supplier qualification process by conducting SAP Ariba assessments and executing global on-site audits to ensure supplier compliance and capability. /liliImplement improvement actions at suppliers based on audit findings and identified process improvements, fostering enhanced collaboration and quality outcomes. /liliOversee the global parts approval process to ensure supplier materials and components meet technical and operational requirements for various critical to quality materials in Transformers Business unit. /liliMonitor supplier performance indicators and drive the annual Supplier Performance Evaluation process to identify and address low-performing suppliers. /liliDevelop and implement action plans for supplier performance recovery, working closely with suppliers to ensure the effectiveness of corrective measures. /liliResolve escalated non-conformities with suppliers by leading root cause analysis and ensuring proper implementation of corrective actions. /liliDrive continuous improvement in supplier management processes at a global level, reflecting lessons learned and promoting best practices across the business unit. /liliLead key SCM tool/system improvement projects within Supplier Quality and Development domain. /liliProject lead for single/sole source elimination in critical global categories. /li /ulh3Your background /h3ulliDegree in Engineering (Materials, Mechanical, Production engineering or similar). /liliMinimum of 10 years of experience in supplier development and supplier quality management. /liliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. /liliExperience with transformer industry relevant materials and components production (e.g: steel, copper, aluminum, insulation materials, chemicals raw materials, gaskets, transformer components) is a strong advantage. /liliYou have solid experience with production process assessment. /liliYou have solid experience with Quality and Continuous Improvement tools and processes (e.g., Kaizen, DMAIC, A3, 8D, 5Why Analysis). /liliYou have depth of experience with APQP/PPAP, P-FMEA, Process Control Plan, Statistical Process Control, and inspection process. /liliAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time management skills with structured, proactive, self-driven, and result-oriented work approach. /liliExcellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting with suppliers and cross-functional teams effectively in international environment. /liliWillingness to travel internationally to conduct supplier assessments and audits frequently. /li /ulh3About Hitachi Energy /h3pHitachi Energy is a global technology leader in electrification, powering a sustainable energy future through innovative power grid technologies with digital at the core.
