Description of the Tasks
The requested profile is a network administrator for supporting security implementations within the network operations team.
- Support network administration within the network operations team.
- Handle tasks related to switching technologies, routing, Wi‑Fi, and network security.
- Support daily operations for relevant services.
- Contribute to the execution of new projects.
Knowledge Requirements:
- Switching technologies (particularly for Cisco), layer 2 network design.
- CCNA (CCNP as a plus) level certification from Cisco or any other networking vendor demonstrating knowledge on the switching area of networking.
- Routing technologies, dynamic routing protocols, layer 3 network design.
- Wi‑Fi technologies (particularly for Cisco products).
- Network protocol services (NTP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP…).
- Cisco ACI networking technology (hardware knowledge also a plus).
- VMware NSX platform.
- Network quality of service techniques and technologies.
- Network security techniques and technologies.
- Administrator/Operator Level:
- System administration of Linux servers (Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS and others).
- Network access control systems (NAC).
- Operating and monitoring of infrastructure, systems and servers (PRTG preferred).
- IDS/IPS network intrusion detection technologies.
- Firewalling technologies (particularly Cisco and Fortinet systems).
- VPN standards and technologies.
- Network logging systems (Syslog and SIEM log correlation applications).
- Other Cross‑cutting Competencies:
- LAN technologies, TCP/IP protocol.
- Netbox.
- Experience creating technical documentation.
- Good communications skills in English.
- Administration of server virtualization platforms (i.e., VMware).
Specific Expertise:
- Cisco ACI management
