In this role you will support accurate and compliant Italian accounting and tax management, ensuring timely closings and reliable financial data for local management and corporate HQ. You will work within a multinational automotive-focused environment, contributing to VAT compliance, payroll-related accounting, and audits. The position offers growth in an international setting with exposure to European and Asian HQ. You will help maintain financial stability and drive compliant, data-driven decision making.
Retribuzione / Benefits
- Manage general ledger activities (journal entries, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets)
- Record and reconcile AP/AR transactions
- Record monthly payroll journal entries and related accruals
- Support monthly, quarterly and annual closings per corporate deadlines and OIC
- Ensure VAT application and tax compliance
- Prepare accounting schedules, reports for internal management and corporate HQ
- Support external auditors and tax consultants during audits
- Handle additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned by Accounting Manager
Responsabilità
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields (or Accounting diploma with strong experience)
- 3-5 years of accounting experience
- Solid understanding of Italian GAAP (OIC), VAT, payroll accounting, and tax requirements
- Advanced Excel skills
- Good communication and cross-functional collaboration
- Fluent in Italian and English
