And that’s where you come in. /p h3bAccountabilities /b /h3 pThe Project Manager is accountable for the delivery of the project, meeting contractual requirements and delivering on budget, quality and time, ensuring customer satisfaction. The PM ultimately manages Project profit and loss, identifies and manages project risks, coordinates with the Risk Manager, allocates risk contingencies, and maintains the relationship with the customer as the direct interface. /p ul liApproves the master schedule and the second‑level schedule issued by the Project Planner. /li liAuthorises any change to the project baseline that impacts product costs, schedule or contractual obligations. /li liManages requests for variation from the customer from offer preparation through negotiation. /li liApproves sub‑contracts and Letters of Intent relevant to key sub‑supplies and RSBU Legal Entities before signature to ensure alignment with budget, schedule and contractual requirements. /li liManages the Project Monthly and Quarterly Progress Reports and Meetings, including economic and financial progress reports issued by the Project Controller. /li liApproves and manages all project communications toward the customer. /li liValidates the invoicing plan. /li liManages the delivery of products to the customer. /li liLeads the Project Team. /li /ul h3bJob requirements /b /h3 h3bRequired Skills/Knowledge /b /h3 ul liProven 3–5 years of project management experience in a medium/complex multinational organisation. /li liExcellent team‑working attitude. /li liStrong stakeholder relationship skills, both internally and externally. /li liStrong problem‑solving skills. /li liAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. /li liHigh competence with Microsoft Office; excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills. /li liExcellent client‑facing and internal communication skills. /li liExcellent written and verbal communication skills. /li liSolid organisational skills with attention to detail and multitasking ability. /li liProject Management Professional (PMP or IPMA) certification is a plus. /li /ul h3bEducation / Qualifications /b /h3 pBachelor's degree in an appropriate field (Engineer). /p h3bLanguages /b /h3 pEnglish (level C1 certificate or higher). /p pAt Hitachi Rail, we welcome and value differences in background, age, gender, sexuality, family status, disability, race, nationality, ethnicity, religion and worldview.
