About the role
We are looking for a Growth Data Scientist with proven experience in developing Advanced Analytics and Machine Learning solutions to support business processes, particularly in the areas of Sales and Customer Management. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, transforming data and insights into concrete actions while contributing to the adoption of models within operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and deploy Machine Learning and Advanced Analytics models
* Build predictive models (e.g., churn, cross-sell, up-sell, propensity models, etc.) and develop the related features and datasets
* Translate models into operational outputs (customer lists, scores, targeting logics) to support commercial processes
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions
* Monitor model performance and business impact, contributing to a test-and-learn approach
* Present insights, results, and strategic recommendations to management
* Work closely with Data Engineering and IT teams to ensure data quality, governance, and availability
* Contribute to the evolution of the company’s data-driven strategy

Qualifications
Minimum 3/5 years of experience in Data Scientist roles, preferably within Sales or Customer Analytics.
* Strong knowledge of Python, PySpark, SQL, and major Machine Learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, or similar)
* Hands on experience with Azure Databricks (including Workflows and Job Orchestration) and familiarity with the Azure ecosystem: Azure Machine Learning, Azure DevOps, Azure Data Factory
* Practical experience in developing predictive models with end-to-end project ownership (e.g., propensity, churn, segmentation)
* Ability to work with complex and/or incomplete datasets
* Good understanding of data architectures and ETL/ELT pipelines for data preparation and transformation
* Degree in a scientific or quantitative discipline
* Fluent English
Soft Skills & Qualifications
* Strong interest in applying analytical models to real business contexts (particularly Sales and Marketing, though not exclusively)
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including interaction with senior management
* Strong storytelling and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
* Ability to interpret data strategically and with a results-oriented mindset
* Ability to translate models and analyses into actionable business outputs
Nice to Have
* Experience with Data Visualization tools (Power BI or similar)
* Experience in CRM and campaign management environments
* Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, and practical experience using VS Code
