We are looking for a Production Supervisor for our Dry Polymer Plant, responsible for the production and quality of products released by the company. The candidate reports to the Production Manager and collaborates with planning, engineering, maintenance, quality control, E&T group, and has a strong focus on EHSQ systems.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
1. Planning and organization of equipment and personnel in relation to the weekly production plan of the plant;
2. Organization and management of personnel (shifts and holiday planning);
3. Management of plan controls, periodic maintenance of equipment and machinery, and elaboration of needs;
4. Analyzing product and process quality problems, especially regarding intermediate and finished products, and identifying causes;
5. Collaborating on research and development solutions;
6. Working with maintenance and engineering to resolve technical-mechanical issues;
7. Modifying production procedures as needed;
8. Working with the EHSQ Manager to keep the quality system updated and compliant;
9. Using the Production Module in SAP;
10. Implementing process improvements to increase product quality and output;
11. Creating production plans for new products to ensure quality from the start;
12. Scheduling project plans with the project team to meet deadlines;
13. Ensuring compliance with ISO accreditation requirements;
14. Investigating quality issues and proposing solutions;
15. Supervising the correct application of internal procedures and legal requirements;
16. Ensuring cycle counting and inventory accuracy;
17. Substituting for the Production Manager in their absence.
What you’ll bring to the team:
* Technical diploma and relevant experience in a similar role within medium-sized companies;
* Good communication skills in English;
* Experience in the chemical process industry;
* Mandatory personnel management experience;
* Operational mindset.
