TEMPORARY RISK & CHANGE MANAGER – CAPITAL PROJECTS (PHARMA / LIFE SCIENCES)
SELF-EMPLOYED / VAT REGISTERED (PARTITA IVA)
PART-TIME
CONTRACT DURATION: 18–24 months
START DATE: May 2026
WORK LOCATION: Emilia-Romagna – Italy

The Role
You will be involved in strategic pharmaceutical projects, supporting the entire change control lifecycle, from design through commissioning, qualification and handover.
You will act as the focal point for assessing and governing scope changes, ensuring alignment between project objectives, regulatory constraints and financial discipline.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end Change Management process
* Assess and consolidate the impact of changes on schedule, cost and risk
* Govern Change Review Boards and support Stage Gate Reviews
* Collaborate with Project Controls on budget, schedule and risk registers
* Coordinate engineering disciplines (Process, Utilities, HVAC, Automation, CQV, QA)
* Ensure GMP/GxP compliance, documentation quality and audit readiness
* Prevent scope creep through value engineering and scope containment
* Proven ability in the fundamentals of Risk Management
* Expert knowledge of Project Controls and Project Management
* Extensive experience in risk & project management, execution planning, construction management, scheduling and progress tracking, cost management and value engineering
* Strong experience in leading risk reduction initiatives and managing outcomes
Requirements
* Solid knowledge of GMP/GxP and pharmaceutical project lifecycles
* Experience in capital projects within Pharma / Life Sciences
* Strong exposure to Commissioning & Qualification (DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ)
* Good knowledge of Monte Carlo Analysis software (Acumen, @Risk, Safran, PRA)
* Proven ability in Risk Management fundamentals
* Ability to evaluate the impact of changes on budget, schedule and risk
* Excellent communication skills toward senior stakeholders
* Structured, detail-oriented and strong decision-making approach
* Fluent English
* Active VAT registration (Partita IVA)
* Availability starting May 2026
