What Makes This Role Exciting Our fast‑growing team in Italy is on the lookout for an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist with expertise in Italian payroll. In this role, you’ll handle the operational processing of payrolls, ensuring accuracy for SSAE 16 audits and compliance with statutory requirements, while collaborating with CloudPay’s global payroll operations team. Main Responsibilities
Processing multiple payrolls on behalf of clients accurately, on time, and efficiently
Analyzing payroll‑related information to ensure accurate distribution of funds and payroll
Partnering with the Implementation Consultants to ensure successful knowledge transfers between Project Delivery and Operations
Supporting the Software Release process by validating that new features have been accurately developed
Assisting with parallel runs if testing is needed on a new requirement
Reconciling pre‑processing reports to ensure accuracy before processing payroll
Researching discrepancies in payroll information and/or documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to procedures before processing
Delivering payroll accurately and providing timely payment of employee salaries in line with client service‑level agreements and expectations
Maintaining payroll information, files, and records to provide an up‑to‑date reference and audit trail for compliance
Validating payroll requirements to ensure that sufficient information is provided by the client to enable setup and configuration to be completed successfully
Providing payroll training and guidance to team members
Experience Needed for This Role
Deep knowledge and experience in a consulting company or in the HR Payroll and Administrative department of a multinational company
Knowledge of Italian legal requirements, statutory forms reporting, etc.
Experience with related payroll software and the MS Office suite
Experience with Zucchetti is beneficial
Strong Italian and English language skills required
