Avionic System Engineer
We are looking for an Avionic System Engineer for our Aerospace & Aviation division, to coordinate the development of avionics equipment for a major customer in the sector.
Responsibilities
* Capturing, defining, and managing avionics equipment requirements
* Critical review of the HW design of avionics equipment boards
* Developing theoretical/simulation models for performance evaluation and system sizing
* Applying safety‑critical and redundancy principles at the avionics system/subsystem level
* Integrating avionics equipment into the final system/subsystem
* Support for SW integration with Avionic Equipment
* Support for supplier management
* Support for system qualification activities
Essential Technical Requirements
* Knowledge of System Engineering Processes and Standards
* Knowledge of Doors
* Experience in participating in System developments in the safety‑critical avionics sector
* Ability to use standard laboratory equipment
Optional Technical Requirements
* Knowledge of the specific features of avionics systems
* Knowledge of model‑based design
* Knowledge of communication protocols used in avionics (in particular Ethernet, CAN, ARINC429, MIL‑STD‑1553)
* Knowledge of serial buses such as RS232, RS485, RS422, Ethernet, MIL‑STD‑1553B, ARINC 429, CAN, FireWire 1394
Education
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or related fields.
