Automotive UX Designers at Pininfarina work on the parts of the interactive experience that involve functionality or content one uses while driving, but not limited to the driver only. Creating experiences for passengers and mobility activities outside the vehicle make up the full spectrum of the design task. Their mission starts from experience definition and interaction concept design for physical and/or digital detailed interface design and includes concept mock-ups, development and user evaluations. They work within multi-disciplinary teams, including other design disciplines to physical, HW & SW development. For this role, the Lead UX Designer will draw from his or her experience in designing automotive information and interaction systems in directing the efforts of Senior and Junior UX Designers. The Lead UX Designer will collaborate within multidiscipline project teams and be responsible to supervise the progression of Interaction design from initial concept through detailed functional definition. This person will organize and present to clients while evolving the design of desirable interactive experiences. Your Tasks: - Guide and mentor the ability growth of Sr and Jr UX designers - Conduct stakeholder interviews, heuristic evaluations and requirements - Conduct user research, trends research, competitive research & benchmarking - Map current user journeys or generate future scenarios - Participate in experience ideation, story mapping - Participate in experience mocking up & user evaluation - Define interaction concepts - Participate in value & impact mapping, experience DNA & KEI definition - Define UX architecture and contribute to defining UI architecture - Participate in interaction concepts mocking up & user evaluation - Support the realization of technical POCs - Participate in sprint plan definition - Participate in detailed interface design (visual, motion, sound, light, haptics, etc.) - Support HW & SW development & user testing - Support during manufacturing & integration - Participate in functional testing - Support commissioning and final UAT Requirements: - Insatiable curiosity and hunger to learn - Ability to think out of the box - Yearning for teamwork to achieve the extraordinary - Excellent interaction design skills demonstrated by your portfolio - Proficiency with cutting-edge design methods, software and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Protopie, Adobe XD & CC, etc. - Excellent presentation & communication skills - Professional working English Your profile: - University degree in Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction, or other related design field - Experience working in a variety of organizations (start-up, corporate, agency or consultancy) - Experience both on physical and digital interaction design - Academic, professional, or life experience from outside the design field that enriches your perspective as a designer - Experience with Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar software - Previous experience on product and automotive field Location Cambiano (TO), Italy (Hybrid ) Only profiles that meet the above requirements will be considered.
