At CS GROUP, we are driven by innovation and we value our most important asset: our people. /p h3Job Description /h3 pTo support our client activities which cover the Heater-HPR (High Pressure Regulator) design, development, and testing up to the equipment TRL 6 test on an EM model you will have the following responsibilities : /p ul liProvide technical knowhow and consultancy in propulsion to project teams responsible for spacecraft development. /li liEnhance support for propulsion subsystem activities utilizing Hall thruster-based propulsion technology and its critical components. /li liPerform propulsion sub-system level analysis to provide inputs to system budgets. /li liPrepare technical documentation to support the propulsion subsystem development, testing, and the associated project reviews /li liProvide support in developing propulsion sub-system and equipment, including design and testing /li liProvide support for supplier management, including requirements management, progress monitoring, and supporting project-related reviews. /li liIdentify critical development challenges and assist in their resolution. /li liRegularly report to the Head of Propulsion and Lead Propulsion Engineer. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liMaster's degree in Aerospace Engineering or Plasma Physics required along with relevant experience; a PhD in a related field is a strong asset /li liStrong background and specific experience in propulsion. /li liKnowledge of thermodynamics and heat transfer principles as they relate to fluid systems. /li liPrior experience in propulsion sub-systems and propulsion equipment development and qualification. /li liExperience with propulsion sub-system level analysis (e.g. gauging, cleanliness, contamination, etc.) and their methodologies /li liPrior experience in propulsion subsystem and equipment testing for RD and qualification purposes /li liIn-depth understanding of relevant technologies for this position /li liFamiliarity with space engineering standards (ECSS, ANSI-AIAA, etc.), including preparation and implementation. /li liProficiency in fluidic system design. /li liExperience with EcosimPRO and SPIS. /li liExpertise in designing, developing, and validating tools and methods relevant to the field. /li liBackground in institutional projects. /li liProficiency in English /li /ul h3Additional Information /h3 ul liThis job is located in Fino Mornasco, Italy /li liPlease note this is a 1 year contract with possibility of extension. /li liIf you think you have what it takes for this job, please send your CV (in English and in Word or PDF) to Medina Djakova, by clicking on the button “Apply for this job” quoting job NL-HP- 25107. /li liAn exciting and dynamic international working environment awaits you! /li liInclusive and committed employer, our company works every day to combat all forms of discrimination and promote a respectful working environment.
