This is the world of Smarter Freshness. /p pbWhat the Role Delivers /b /p pAs a Customer Service Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless end-to-end execution of customer service and commercial activities. You’ll manage the full-service order lifecycle—from contracts and pricing to order entry through delivery, billing, and revenue recognition—while delivering an exceptional customer experience. /p pIn this dynamic role, you’ll collaborate closely with internal teams including Commercial, Finance, Logistics, and Operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company and export regulations. You’ll also act as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism, precision, and a strong sense of ownership. /p pbK ey /bbResponsibilities /bbr/In order of relative importance /p ul liWork with digital tools in place at Agrofresh to capture ongoing applications. /li liUpload data from external Excel sources. /li liUse of Excel Macros (as an end user) to revise data prior to final load into ERP (SAP S4 HANA) /li liCreate orders in SAP and complete deliveries, execute shipments and monitor Stock consumption / Inventory depletion. /li /ul pbExport – Service and Product ordering /b /p ul liCreate orders and close administrative follow-up with the “Operation team”. /li liBe able to manage Intercompany orders /li /ul pbContracts: Rebates, commissions and billing plan /b /p ul liManage and finalize contracts in SAP (Season pass, Rebates, commissions) including DOA follow up (DOA = Delegation of Authority / proper signer of contracts with relevant authority) /li liEnd of year reconciliation: total volume, final price, stock, amount of commission to be paid. /li liPrices set up in ERP with discounts. /li liInvoices creation and distribution (multi-channel, print, email…) /li liSales adjustments (credit and debit notes) with DOA component for Approval /li liSupport Audit requests /li /ul pbEnd of month activity /b /p ul liReporting orders not invoiced for internal blocks so they can be accrued. /li /ul pbMaster Data /b /p ul liCustomer Master data creation (Payer/Sold to/ Ship to) /li liWork closely with Credit Management team in Philadelphia for appropriate Payment terms and Credit limits set up on each account. /li /ul pbSupport to an allocated commercial team /b /p ul liInterface between the sales team, customers and different departments of the company, /li liSales report to your sales team and customers, /li liManage any ad hoc requests from your sales team and our customers. /li /ul pbWho to Work With /b /p pPrimary internal and external stakeholders /p ul liCustomers /li liCommercial Team /li liSupply Chain Team /li liFinance /li liCommercial Operations Team /li /ul pbHow We Work /bbr/AgroFresh core competencies – those in italics apply for people leaders /p ul liAccountability for Results /li liCustomer Centricity /li liOne AgroFresh /li liOwns the Talent /li /ul pbWhat the Job Requires /b /p ul liFluent in English and Italian /li liSecond language is required: French or German /li liSAP S4HANA or equivalent ERP. /li liProficiency in Order to cash tools, Power query, power BI etc. tools used in the supply chain management /li liProficiency in Excel /li /ul pbWhat to Have Done and Know How to Do /b /p pThese skills and experiences are highly desirable; however, they do not preclude exceptions based on an individual’s performance history and demonstrated potential. /p ul liProven experience in Customer service with cross-functional Order to Cash processes. /li liSignificant experience in Export (product and service). /li lie-invoicing (SDI for Italy) /li liStrong communication skills both written and oral /li liAutonomous, multitasking, well organized and capable of providing accurate feedback. /li liAbility to work under changing agenda priorities and highly seasonal activities within set deadlines. /li /ul pbWhy Work Here /b /p ul liWe work every day to improve the quantity and quality of fresh produce and reduce food waste – that is important to every person on the planet! /li liWe have a rich history and are known for our quality products. /li liWe have an enterprising spirit and are looking for like-minded problem-solvers to help us accomplish our goals. /li liWe focus on the Critical Few priorities that are important for us and our customers and then hold ourselves accountable to deliver. /li liWe are growing and transforming – both our business and the industry. /li liWe are committed to developing our colleagues and helping you advance in your career. /li liWe offer competitive compensation and benefits packages. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
