PpbRequisition ID /b: 82762 /p h3Purchasing Manager /h3 pThe Purchasing Manager is part of the local Supply Chain team, reporting to the Site Director, and is responsible for activities related to the procurement of direct materials. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liResponsible for implementing the local sourcing strategy for the assigned suppliers (Class C), defining commercial terms and intervening directly when necessary. /li liSupports Category Managers in commercial negotiations with Class A and B suppliers. /li liImplements an operational cost reduction program within the scope of responsibility, with particular focus on: ul liTotal Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis /li liInventory management costs /li liPotential intra-group purchasing synergies /li liSupplier base rationalization, etc. /li /ul /li liMonitors warehouse status with regard to purchasing activities, ensuring compliance with the supply chain levels defined by company policy, and reports any potential critical issues to the Site Director. /li liCollaborates with the Supplier Quality Engineering (Supplier QE) function in the qualification of new suppliers. /li liEnsures full compliance with company policies and internal procedures. /li liParticipates in continuous improvement projects and Product Changes, supporting company functions in the development of new products or modifications to existing ones. /li liManages and develops the purchasing team, promoting skills growth and alignment with expected performance levels. /li liPrepares reports, analyses, and presentations for management, including budgets and performance dashboards. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liUniversity degree in Supply Chain or equivalent experience/knowledge. /li liFluent English proficiency. /li liGood knowledge of Microsoft Office. /li liKnowledge of SAP is considered a plus. /li liLeadership and stakeholder management skills. /li liStrong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving attitude. /li liAbility to work in complex, dynamic, and international environments. /li liStrong sense of responsibility, integrity, and confidentiality. /li liAlignment with company values of Respect (for company standards, corporate vision, colleagues and customers, processes, and operating procedures), Responsibility, Collaboration, Reliability, and Agility (continuous improvement). /li /ul h3Equal Opportunity Employer /h3 pDentsply Sirona is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
