Operational Risk Manager – Financial Markets – Italy (Rome or Milan) Our client, a major European financial markets organisation, is looking for anOperational Risk Managerto strengthen its risk framework across a technology‐intensive, regulated environment. The role suits someone with5–6 years' experiencein operational/IT risk who is ready to take on broader responsibilities and grow into afuture team‐leadposition. English and Italian fluency are required. Key Responsibilities Assess and monitoroperational, cyber, IT and third‐party risks. MaintainKey Risk Indicators (KRIs)and promote strong risk culture. Support enhancements to theenterprise risk frameworkand regulatory alignment. Provide guidance onrisk methodologies, controls and governance. Deliver clearrisk reportingfor senior stakeholders and committees. Coordinatescenario analysis, incident reviews and risk assessments for key projects. Liaise with auditors and supervisory bodies and support responses. Profile Master's degree in a relevant field (tech, cyber, engineering, economics or finance). Experience in financial services, audit, consultancy or regulatory environments. Strong grounding inIT governance and information securityframeworks (e.g. ISO, NIST, ITIL, DORA principles). Excellent analytical skills, structured communication and attention to detail. Fluent in English and Italian; strong MS Office skills.
