The role involves confidently designing great workplaces, thinking of design as more than a job, working closely with our sales team to help develop RFPs, and effectively influencing and directing clients.
Above all, the work will transform workspaces and contribute to some of the most recognisable commercial interiors in the Office Interiors market.ResponsibilitiesConfidently lead on design projects of varying size from large to smallWork in close partnership with clients, providing support as neededCollaborate with the Head of Design and all members of the Unispace team to ensure methodology is delivered throughout the entire project life cycleCommunicate with clients, designers, consultants, pre‑construction and delivery teams to ensure that projects truly embody our client’s visionLead project teams in the management of all design work, including compiling technical and interior drawings, finish boards, and full documentation setsCreate and deliver pitches and presentations that wow our clients and put us on the front foot for winning workPitch wherever needed as a valued member of a cross‑functional teamImplement design best standards, practices, processes, and technology solutions within the studioIdentify and report risks to the Design Principal, or health and safety teams where relevantContinually enhance depth and breadth of design skills, staying current with external market trendsWhat Experience You’ll NeedPassion for interior designExperience managing high‑performing project teams, preferably on commercial workplace projectsProficiency in the use of design tools, including Revit, InDesign, and PhotoshopDemonstrated willingness to develop existing skills and learn new ones to contribute to the team, support clients and grow within the businessExperience pitching to high‑profile clients with strong written and verbal communicationAbility to remain positive and energetic while working under pressure and managing multiple deadlinesStrong collaboration skills, able to create strong relationships with colleagues and a desire to learn and understand how our business worksConfidence in expressing opinions and influencing stakeholders to achieve the best outcomePrior experience within the Italian or European market, with an understanding of industry and local market trendsCommercial interior design project experienceWhat We OfferIn return, you will receive a competitive salary and a generous benefits package, including a pension, paid holiday leave, and travel opportunities across our global offices.
