Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly motivated analyst to join Hines Italy’s Living team in Milan who would support team members in sourcing, appraising, closing and managing investment opportunities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Perform financial analysis, strategic business analysis and detailed industry research for complex investment and development opportunities across Living asset classes
2. Update financial models with actuals and forecasts
3. Conduct financial analysis and sensitivities on the models, comparing returns outcome
4. Support on the asset management activities, including leasing and sale processes
5. Prepare investment memos, PowerPoint presentations and other materials for internal and external use Draft documents and presentations for internal/external use and governance bodies
6. Take a pro-active role on multiple portfolios and projects such as supporting the Financial Modeling and Due Diligence phase of live transactions
7. Liaise with third parties as investors, lenders, brokers, tenants and legal/tax advisors
8. Support the Financial and Due Diligence phase of live transactions
9. Liaise and actively communicate with other teams, external advisors and investors
10. Monitoring assets’ performance which includes but not limited to monitoring business plan progress, preparing investor reports, communicating with the fund manager, investors, borrowers and various other stakeholders internally and externally
11. Join commercial due diligence activities including market analysis and lease reviews
12. Provide financial and qualitative analysis and prepare investment memos for Board Approvals
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements include:
13. Outstanding academic profile graduated with a master's degree in Economics, Finance, or Real Estate
14. At least one or more years’ experience in a top-tier Real Estate, Private Equity, Investment Banking, or Consulting firm
15. Fluent in Italian and English
16. Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
17. Genuine interest in the Real Estate environment
18. Highly numerate with strong financial modelling experience
19. Detail-oriented
20. Team player with the ability to work under pressure
