Headquartered in Burlington, ON, with subsidiaries across North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia, Anaergia operates over 1,600 installations worldwide, focusing on renewable energy generation, waste diversion from landfills, and greenhouse gas reduction.Mission:Ensure design optimization and process performance throughout each production phase, maintaining product excellence, competitiveness, and profitability.Goals:Analyze input data and required outputs for consistency and feasibility.Define processes, specify fluxes, capacities, and size treatment chain subsections according to standards.Develop and update engineering documents as per documentation requirements.Contribute to company know-how development, including database and sizing tools upgrades.Provide process expertise during commercial, engineering, commissioning, and operational phases, supporting application engineers, project teams, site managers, and customers.Target to design competitive plants, select reliable technologies, and ensure customer satisfaction.Responsibilities and Authority:Elaborate technical specifications for feedstocks and evaluate criteria.Verify and validate treatment chain subsections and performance requirements.Manage process documents and prepare start-up plans with support during plant commissioning and ramp-up.Train and instruct relevant personnel.Plan feedstock and stream analysis campaigns.Develop control narratives and ensure proper implementation of control strategies.Monitor plant performance.Job Requirements:Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.Educational Competencies:Chemical EngineeringEnvironmental EngineeringChemistry ScienceBiology ScienceBiotechnologyTechnical / Specialist Competencies:Proficiency with process calculation tools.Knowledge of main technologies and processes, with application skills.Ability to develop technical and graphic documents using IT tools.Ability to plan chemical and biological analyses.Recognize potential process risks affecting plant performance.Excellent knowledge of Italian and English languages.Additional Skills:Specific expertise in Anaerobic Digestion, Waste Treatment, Waste Water Treatment.Knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
