Job Description:
Production Planning Officer
The Production Planning Officer supports the MP&C Manager in ensuring proper planning of production schedules for both operational activities and during the execution (run) phase, in line with the budget, while also monitoring the plant’s performance trends.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Process Planning and Scheduling
1. Perform processing and control of MRP runs in order to plan production activities.
2. Develop budget plans and analyze monthly workloads to define and monitor medium- and long-term actions.
3. Coordinate the activities required to achieve working capital targets.
4. Prepare reports to monitor the plant’s delivery performance.
5. Ensure the required DSA level towards customers.
6. Manage the stock coverage index.
7. Comply with company quality procedures and current safety regulations, supporting the Safety Department in their application to promote accident prevention and reduction.
8. Ensure collaboration with all departments involved in related activities, fostering participative and supportive approaches in line with continuous improvement principles.
9. Guarantee effective information transfer between different users through proper communication tools.
10. Comply with company regulations and procedures, adopting effective behaviors for resolving internal conflicts.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Regardless of specific know-how related to the activity area, the role requires knowledge of:

12. Specific technical documentation
13. Structural characteristics of commonly used materials (steel, aluminum, carbon fiber, etc.) and related machining tolerances
14. Industry regulations (specific UNI EN ISO standards, EASA, ENAC, safety, quality, etc.)
15. Organizational communication
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
16. Education: Degree in Engineering
17. Experience: At least 1 year in the following areas: logistics, production planning, and/or supply chain
