/p h3About The Role /h3 pWe are seeking an experienced bOperational Finance Manager /b to lead all financial and accounting activities for the bHumidity Control Technologies (HCT) Business Line /b in Italy.
/p pIn this role, you will oversee financial reporting, business control, investment activities, tax and treasury, risk management, and payroll.
You will act as a key financial partner for the bBusiness Unit Manager Italy /b, while ensuring transparent communication with headquarters in Sweden on performance, development, and strategic matters.
/p pAs Team Lead, you will also manage the local Finance team, drive improvements in financial processes, and ensure compliance with both Italian regulations and Munters global policies.
/p pThis is a hybrid role, with the possibility to work remotely up to two days per week.
Regular on-site presence at our Imperia office is required for at least three days per week.
/p h3Your Key Tasks Responsibilities /h3 pbManagement Accounting /b /p ul liCoordinate all financial reporting for Munters Humidity Control Italy S.r.l. /li liEnsure accurate and compliant financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, equity).
/li liLead and develop the local Finance team.
/li liLiaise with the AirTech EMEA Finance Director and Group Finance for effective and timely internal reporting.
/li /ul pbTax, Treasury Risk Handling /b /p ul liMonitor and mitigate financial risks.
/li liEnsure compliance with tax reporting, treasury operations, and government requirements.
/li liManage internal and external audits, ensuring successful completions with no material findings.
/li liSafeguard assets by maintaining an effective control environment, supported by robust processes and systems.
/li liHandle transfer pricing queries and ensure compliance with regulations.
/li liEnsure compliance with the Munters Financial Manual and corporate policies.
/li /ul pbBusiness Control /b /p ul liConduct regular cost centre reviews with the BU Leader.
/li liManage departmental costs within budget, commenting on deviations.
/li liSupport profitable growth by driving performance measurement and working capital improvements.
/li liLead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
/li liDrive improvements in financial systems and reporting.
/li /ul pbPayroll Management /b /p ul liManage and prepare monthly payroll in alignment with an external payroll provider.
/li liEnsure payroll accuracy and continuous quality improvements.

/li liStrong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance in Italy.
/li liHands-on experience with audits, risk handling, and treasury operations.
/li liProficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office.
/li liPrevious leadership experience required.
/li liFluency in both Italian and English (spoken and written) is essential.
/li liA professional certification such as CFA, CPA (or equivalent), or an Italian qualification (e.g. ODCEC) is considered an advantage, but not a requirement.
