As an EHS Specialist, you will act as a member of the EHS Team in the Rivalta Plant and be the EHS focal point for the assigned area and/or process. Your responsibilities will include developing, planning and executing the Environmental Health and Safety programs and policies.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
* Support the EHS Team to define, improve, lean, simplify, communicate and maintain site EHS program requirements and expectations
* Implement/modify related EHS programs and procedures to ensure compliance
* Maintain an in-depth knowledge of existing and proposed regulations
* Modify and implement compliance tracking programs and record keeping systems
* Develop and provide education programs related to specific disciplines
* Provide and determine alternatives for issue resolution
* Ensure compliance of plant operations with regulatory requirements relating to air, solid waste, chemical, water, health and safety
Qualifications/Requirements
* Degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical/Environmental/Industrial Engineering or related environment, health and safety disciplines, or High School Technical Diploma
* Previous work experience in EHS
* Knowledge of Italian EHS regulation (D.lgs. 81/2008) and EHS international standards (ISO14001 and ISO45001)
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Ability to prioritize and balance multiple ongoing tasks
* Fluent Italian and good English knowledge
* Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
