What we expect from you:
• As Electrical Designer, you will be responsible for the development of electrical systems and wiring harnesses.
Responsibilities: Manage Level 3 Electrical Planning for assigned projects.Oversee the quality of electrical components in prototypes, pre-production, and production trucks.Manage 3D electrical layout design.Define wiring harness layouts.Define electrical architecture, including power, ground, and signal distribution.Manage truck configuration for electrical parts.Track and resolve issues related to electrical systems using the PIR tool.Manage electrical specifications during RFI/RFQ phases.Participate in system DFMEA.Perform Wiring Harness Design FMEA, considering system FMEA.Support system team in network architecture development.Lead wiring harness development activities, including internal and supplier collaborations.Provide technical support to purchasing and project management for quotations and timelines.Ensure compliance with IDV/Astra standards.Background: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.3-5 years of experience in electrical design engineering.Experience with electrical architecture of rolling vehicles, including power balance, wire sizing, and power distribution.Knowledge in wiring harness and electrical component development.Technical communication with suppliers.Fluent in Italian and English.Excellent problem-solving skills.Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time, nationally and internationally.Seniority levelAssociateEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionMotor Vehicle ManufacturingReferrals can double your chances of interviewing at Iveco Group.
