Concrete laboratory and construction site technician We are recruiting a Laboratory and Construction Site Technician for our Lenta (VC) office in Italy, positioned within the Concrete sector and at construction sites where the work is carried out daily.
Tecno Piemonte Spa, part of the Apave Group, provides testing and certification services in civil engineering and environmental sectors. The role involves sampling and testing fresh and hardened concrete according to UNI EN standards, compiling reports, and supporting laboratory and site management.
Day-to-day responsibilities
Take official samples of fresh concrete during pouring phases on construction sites.
Conduct tests on fresh concrete in accordance with UNI EN standards and tender specifications, recording results on test sheets.
Compile official sampling reports and record data provided by clients and construction management.
Maintain records for sample management and transportation to the laboratory.
Support daily laboratory management: material acceptance, registration, collection at sites, and transport to the laboratory.
Perform tests on hardened concrete using laboratory equipment such as presses, scales, calipers, per UNI EN standards.
Contract & Availability Fixed‑term contract with a view to a permanent position. Full‑time, Monday‑Friday (occasional weekends or nights).
Qualifications and skills
Education: Construction worker, diploma in Geometra, perito edile, technical institute diploma, or degree in engineering or materials science.
Good interpersonal and organizational skills; accuracy.
Team spirit and strong problem‑solving skills.
Flexibility to adapt working hours based on site needs.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
