Job Description Summary
The C&I line leader will be responsible for all Cleaning and Inspection activities of the engines, modules, and parts according to the SoW performed inside Aero Alliance Avenza facility. The C&I line leader will also be responsible for the L5, repair parts activities, led inside Avenza Facility managing not only parts dis-assembled in the Avenza disassembly line but also received from third parties (other JV facilities or other companies).
Essential Responsibilities
* Plan and coordinate C&I and L5 activities on the parts received according to the SoW respecting EHS/Quality requirements, all technical G0 requirement/disposition and TAT/OTD.
* Manage daily (shift by shift) scheduling, balancing the workstation workload, operators’ workload, skills and fixtures availability.
* Attend production weekly reviews, updating the progress of the work, raising issues or delay risks to the target.
* Define KPIs to lead and control the line processes.
* Be responsible for EHS and Quality matters for the line, promoting and leading continuous improvement following the general principles of the Safety Decree Law 81/08 and the standards of ISO 45001 and 14001.
* Under the provisions of 81/08, be configured as a “preposto” and “dirigente per la Sicurezza”, ensuring safety decree requirements are met.
* Balance activities on workstations to respect C&I goals, workstation workload, usage of resources (tools and operators), and hours development for the shop, working closely with foreman, operators, MFG Eng, Maintenance, G0, G2, assembly, disassembly and grinding line leaders.
* Define planning activities, manage costs and investments for the line.
* Plan activities taking account of equipment maintenance.
* Analyze workload, highlight overloads/bottlenecks for the plan and define recovery actions if needed to reach delivery, OTD/TAT targets.
* Work with the workshop leader to define the year OP for costs, hours to develop, capacity, capability, investments and growth.
* Coordinate and be responsible for Daily Management System (DMS) Tier 1 for SQDCP.
* Attend and be part of DMS Tier 2 Process Support Lean/AWO continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cycle time, improve inventory turns, reduce manufacturing losses and be part of problem-solving activities raised during the activities.
* Support facility Growth working with HR/workshop leader to select and onboard new employees.
* Define and support the department skills’ growth for new hires, promoting and fostering the Mentor/Short Service Employee program.
* Support the new L5 activities inside the line, working with L5/repair structure and industrialization team to grant the start of new activities process and the transition from NTI to production process.
* Support the IT improvement/development of JV operation management System (ARMS) and work to develop tools, dashboards and reports to check and control activity progress.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma) or equivalent knowledge or work experience.
* Previous experiences in similar roles.
* Excellent analytical skills.
* Proficient skills in PC, Microsoft Office, Excel, Access Oracle or other ERP system experience.
* Fluency in Italian & English.
* Be a solution‑oriented problem solver.
* Desired characteristics: Material/Inventory planning experience, Lean, DMS and problem‑solving processes knowledge.
* Be flexible in a dynamic environment.
* Strong attention to detail and quality.
* Ability to interact with all levels and functions of the organization.
* Team work.
