WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Analyze and implement software requirements for commercial IoT cloud services such as building management, maintenance, and subscription‑based services.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud‑based applications with strong hands‑on contribution across front‑end and back‑end components.
- Build and extend platform functions and custom features for commercial HVAC and building systems.
- Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services for device management, data collection, monitoring, diagnostics, and subscriptions.
- Develop professional web user interfaces for facility managers and maintenance users using modern web technologies.
- Perform unit and integration testing, bug fixing, and support system validation (remote and onsite when required).
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical problem solving with internal teams and external partners.
- Analyze performance, scalability, and reliability, and continuously improve code quality and maintainability.
- Investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, QA, and other developers to deliver high‑quality services.
- Support integration with edge controllers, gateways, and field devices, considering IoT protocols, data models, and security constraints.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 3+ years of software development experience with strong hands‑on coding and testing.
- Practical experience in web application development across front‑end and back‑end layers.
- Experience with modern JavaScript / TypeScript development and RESTful services.
- Knowledge of server‑side object‑oriented languages such as Java or C#.
- Experience applying standard software engineering practices including unit testing and code reviews.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Fluency in English, written and spoken, for international collaboration.
