Position Overview
Join our Univet Safety marketing team as a Marketing Intern and dive into the dynamic world of industrial safety equipment marketing. This role offers comprehensive exposure to B2B marketing strategies targeting industries such as manufacturing, construction, laboratories, and industrial facilities. You'll work across various marketing channels and gain valuable experience in safety equipment promotion.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing & Online Presence
• Manage and create content for social media platforms focusing on workplace safety
• Support SEO optimization and website content updates
• Assist with Google Ads and LinkedIn advertising campaigns
• Help develop email marketing sequences for safety professionals and procurement teams
• Track and analyze digital marketing performance metrics
Content Development
• Create educational content about workplace safety regulations and best practices
• Develop product demonstration videos and safety training materials
• Write technical articles and whitepapers on safety equipment applications
• Design infographics and visual content highlighting safety statistics and product benefits
Trade Shows & Industry Events
• Support participation in industrial trade shows and safety conferences
• Coordinate promotional materials and booth displays
• Assist with lead generation and follow-up activities
• Help organize safety training workshops and product demonstrations
B2B Marketing Support
• Research industrial market segments and identify target customers
• Support sales team with marketing collateral and presentation materials
• Assist in developing industry-specific marketing campaigns
• Help manage relationships with distributors and channel partners
Market Intelligence
• Monitor competitor activities and pricing strategies
• Research industry regulations and compliance requirements
• Conduct market analysis for new product opportunities
• Support customer satisfaction surveys and feedback collection
Qualifications
• Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related program
• Strong interest in industrial/manufacturing sectors and workplace safety
• Excellent written communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with marketing automation tools
• Basic understanding of digital marketing principles
• Knowledge of design software (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and research skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
