Amazon seeks a Sr. Finance Analyst to support the FP&A team within Other Hardlines (OHL) Store Finance. The FP&A Analyst will support the FP&A Lead, Finance Director, and VP in decision-making through data analysis and business insight. Key job responsibilities The Sr. Finance Analyst will be a finance partner to the OHL finance and business team and part of the OHL finance team. Responsibilities include financial metrics, reporting, forecasting, and analysis. The successful candidate will be strategic, analytical, able to manage multiple stakeholders and rapidly changing priorities, and have demonstrated ability to manage the finances of a high-growth business. Key tasks: Perform financial reporting and support weekly performance review, monthly P&L analysis, and financial forecasts for the Product Family. Establish relationships and collaborate with multiple finance and business teams (Retail, Accounting, Operations). Support in monthly/quarterly financial closing activities in coordination with business and finance teams, including document writing. Facilitate financial review meetings with business groups and work with managers to balance growth and profitability. Perform ad-hoc business analyses and financial modeling. Present recommendations to senior management on strategic decisions and future initiatives. The role will have the support of an intern. We are open to hiring candidates to work out of the following locations: Paris Munich London Madrid Milan Luxembourg BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, or business, or a Bachelor's degree with experience in a quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) Experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance or business tools and processes Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience participating in continuous improvement projects to scale and improve controllership with measurable results Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
