This position supports the Head of Global Indirect Procurement and Procurement Category Manager to manage procurement activities related to the Categories assigned within Alfasigma organization. This role involves developing and implementing effective supplier and category strategies, negotiating with suppliers, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective procurement processes. The Global Category Specialist collaborates with various departments to understand their procurement needs and aligns procurement strategies to support the organization\'s overall goals and objectives. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliCategory and Supplier Strategy: Support Category Manager to develop and implement strategic procurement plans for categories assigned /liliAnalyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry best practices to identify procurement opportunities and risks. /liliIdentify potential suppliers, conduct supplier evaluations, and negotiate contracts and agreements. /liliBuild and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring high-quality products/services and timely deliveries. /liliMonitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and implement improvement plans as necessary. /li /ulh3Cost Management /h3ulliOptimize costs by negotiating favorable terms and conditions with suppliers. /liliIdentify opportunities for cost savings and implement cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality or service. /li /ulh3Collaboration and Communication /h3ulliCollaborate with internal stakeholders (such as departments requiring indirect goods/services) to understand their needs and requirements. /liliCommunicate procurement policies and procedures to internal teams, ensuring compliance and understanding of best practices. /li /ulh3Compliance and Risk Management /h3ulliEnsure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. /liliIdentify and mitigate procurement-related risks, such as supply chain disruptions or supplier financial instability. /li /ulh3Contract Management /h3ulliDraft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring terms are favorable and in compliance with legal requirements. /liliMonitor contract performance, renew contracts as needed, and manage contract expiration and renewal processes. /li /ulh3Data Analysis and Reporting /h3ulliAnalyze procurement data to identify trends, track performance metrics, and prepare reports for management. /liliUtilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and improve procurement processes. /li /ulh3Specific Skills, Educational Requirements and Experience /h3ulliMaster’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field. /liliProven experience in indirect procurement.
