THE ROLEFor our R&D Department in our plant in Montecchio Maggiore (VI), with more than 800 employees, we are looking for a Department Assistant who provides assistance and coordination support to the organization in general for all R&D initiatives connected with internal activities. Must have the ability to work under pressure, demonstrate active listening and exhibit organizational skills. This is a demanding and diverse role that includes a mix of administrative tasks, project coordination and creative work.
Principal Responsibilities
Collecting data: assisting R&D Leader in collecting and analyzing R&D Project data and drafting reports (i.e., budget monitoring); collecting company data for survey ISTAT answering.
Point of contact for orders and shipment activities: supporting R&D managers in issuing and opening new orders through the company ERP and managing requests to Shipment and/or Customer Service for the issuance of documents for sample shipments.
Validity check of technical standards for Montecchio Maggiore site and linked archive/register activities.
Updating Data in the ERP (i.e., code/revision of drawings or Instruction manuals) following ECN.
Requests for component and/or finished product withdrawals for the Electronics Laboratory and inventory management at the relevant RDLAB location.
Organizing logistics for other Xylem employees visiting Company (book meeting rooms, coffee break).

Qualifications
High School Diploma as a minimum in Accounting/Economics
Previous experience in Assistant role is considered a plus
Ability to prioritize activity and planning
Fluent Italian
Fluent in English
High level of discretion and confidentiality
