You’ll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world. /p h3A Day in the Life /h3 pAs a Senior Accountant specializing in financial reporting and technical accounting, you will play a vital role in delivering and overseeing complex accounting projects from design through implementation, working independently with limited supervision while partnering with key stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, strong controls, and adherence to accounting policies. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liApply ITA GAAP and US GAAP principles to analyze financial data and prepare accurate internal and external financial reports. /li liMaintain oversight of accounts and records, including expenses, disbursements, tax payments, and income. /li liCompile, analyze, and review financial information to record transactions and ensure accuracy and completeness of reports. /li liPrepare and consolidate balance sheet, profit and loss, cash flow, and statutory financial statements. /li liManage and execute the month‑end close process in accordance with reporting timelines. /li liDesign, improve, and maintain accounting systems, policies, and internal controls to support proper financial reporting. /li liLead technical accounting research for complex transactions and support the implementation of new accounting standards. /li /ul h3Required Knowledge and Experience /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. /li liMinimum of 4 years of relevant accounting or financial reporting experience. /li liAdvanced knowledge of accounting principles, combining strong technical depth with a broad understanding of financial processes. /li liStrong expertise in US GAAP and its application to internal and external financial reporting. /li liProven experience preparing statutory financial statements in accordance with Italian civil law. /li liWorking knowledge of project management principles and the ability to manage priorities across multiple deadlines. /li liFluent Italian and English skills, with excellent communication and influencing abilities when engaging senior internal and external stakeholders. /li /ul h3Physical Job Requirements /h3 pThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position. /p h3Benefits Compensation /h3 pMedtronic offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits package.
