The role involves both operational and analytical responsibilities, ensuring accurate processing, reconciliation, and monitoring of all supplier-related accounting activities. As a specialist in Accounts Payable at Global level, the position holder will lead the activities for all countries where E-mobility is active. This role is based in Italy and reporting the Accounts Payable Business Manager.In this role your main accountabilities will be:ResponsibilitiesAccounting and processing invoices in a complete, accurate and timely manner while ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and procedures and external regulatory requirementsInvoice process management: analyze and verify supplier invoices status, resolving discrepancies, answering suppliersProvide solutions to accounting and tax issues as they arise and manage the escalations efficientlyAnalyze AP performance metrics (e.g., payment accuracy, cycle times, aging reports) to identify trends, resolve issues, and drive process improvementsSupport in monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team efficiency and effectivenessEnsure postings and records are maintained in strict adherence to accounting rules and local statutory regulations, and support the month-end and year-end closing activities for AP, ensuring all accruals and reconciliations are completed accurately and on scheduleSupporting internal departments in resolving mismatches between purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoicesAct as the Control Owner for AP, guaranteeing full compliance with Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICoFR) requirements. Perform internal control testing and coordinate with internal and external auditorsQualificationsBachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or a related fieldMinimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or P2P functions in a multinational environmentStrong Communication skills.
