Ph3Overview /h3 pJob Location: Alba, Italy. bSenior Food Safety Quality Engineering Manager /b will join the bIndustrial Supply Chain Food Safety Quality Department /b and be part of the Ferrero Engineering Leadership Team, based in bAlba /b. /p pThanks to this opportunity, you will embed into the bFerrero Engineering Leadership Team /b and drive impactful changes to further develop the bHygienic Design Culture /b within the Ferrero Group, supporting Ferrero’s strong commitment to bFood Safety Quality /b. /p h3Main Responsibilities /h3 ul libProvide oversight, support, and advice /b related to all Ferrero Engineering activities concerning Food Safety Quality (FSQ) matters for the Ferrero Group. /li libEnsure FSQ requirements are integrated into Ferrero Engineering standards and guidelines /b, and btrain and develop /b FSQ and Engineering teams on FSQ requirements and Hygienic Design concepts. /li libDefine the governance /b throughout the life cycle of Ferrero Engineering projects to ensure FSQ requirements are met; bsupport project managers /b from design to hand-over for large projects. /li libAssist project engineers /b in ensuring compliance of new machines with industry Hygienic Design and internal FSQ requirements; support factories in identifying Hygienic Design gaps and coaching teams to resolve them. /li libFormalize FSQ requirements on Hygienic Design /b for equipment and buildings; bupdate Ferrero Engineering documents /b to include these requirements. /li libMaintain an internal database /b on international FSQ engineering and Hygienic Design standards; bsupport procedures for FSQ requirements /b for Equipment Suppliers for FAT and SAT, and assist in these tests. /li libSupport risk assessments /b and provide bfinal validation of machines /b, collaborating with Engineering and Industrial functions on mitigation activities; ensure FSQ/Hygienic Design requirements do not conflict with Health Safety requirements. /li libRaise awareness /b of FSQ and Hygienic Design concepts across the Ferrero Engineering department; train and coach employees and managers, participate in FSQ non-conformities investigations related to machines with hygienic design gaps. /li libInteract with external equipment suppliers /b to promote hygienic design, develop guidance, and participate in relevant external bodies and working groups related to Hygienic Design. /li /ul h3Who we are looking for /h3 ul liYou have an beducational background with a Master’s Degree /b in a relevant field such as bFood Process Engineering /b, bFood Safety Quality /b, etc. /li liYou have bmore than 15 years of experience /b in the bFood Industry /b, with strong knowledge of food processing technologies, Hygienic Design, and Food Safety Quality, demonstrated in global roles in blarge international FMCG /b. /li liYou possess bstrong technical knowledge /b, leadership, and bcommunication skills /b, plus experience with quality management systems, food safety regulations, and problem-solving. /li liYou are bpassionate about sharing technical knowledge and coaching cross-functional teams /b, promoting bHygienic Design Culture /b and bFood Safety Quality continuous improvement /b. /li liBeyond being a bsubject matter expert /b, you can bdevelop relationships with internal and external stakeholders /b and interact with different hierarchical levels. /li /ul h3How to be successful in the role and at Ferrero /h3 pBe consumer and product centric, with dedication to crafting brilliant results for consumers around the world.
