GENERAL NEEDS OF THE COMPANY: Responsibilities: Analyze performance of Jetson aircraft electronics and flight computer. Analyze vehicle flight logs and compile them for the engineering team. Design, optimize, validate flight computer and electronics firmware and software. Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure performance and safety requirements are met. Troubleshoot flight computer and electronic integration issues and implement corrective actions. Set up reliable and redundant RC systems including their integration with onboard electronics and robust fail-safe operation. Provide engineering support for the assembly and testing motors, batteries, and related electronic components. Maintain detailed documentation, work instructions, flight performance reports. Preferred Skills and Experience: Excellent concentration and attention to detail with outstanding work efficiency and accuracy. 5 years of work and development of UAV vehicles. Proven experience with UAV flight computers, UAV electronic components, sensors and their integration. UAV flight computers firmware and software development. Proficiency with Python, C#, Java, or other high-level languages. Experience with electronics, electrical wiring, and soldering. Experience with electric propulsion, batteries, brushless motors, motor controllers. 10 years of building RC aircraft, helicopters, drones, and aviation interests. Electronics assembly and prototype development experience. Experience setting up and running tests and experiments. Ability to read, interpret and work from drawings, schematics, assembly procedures and work instructions.
