**, in line with a defined training plan and learning objectives.## Internship Purpose / ObjectiveThe internship is designed to offer a structured learning experience within the Control & Propulsion Systems team, allowing the intern to apply academic knowledge in an industrial environment and to gain exposure to control systems, electric drives, and power electronics used in railway applications.## Description of Internship Activities
* Support the understanding of technical requirements and system architecture related to control and propulsion systems.
* Assist in modeling and simulation activities of electric drives and power converters using academic tools (e.G.
MATLAB/Simulink).
* Support the analysis of basic control strategies and algorithms for electric machines, in line with university-level concepts.
* Observe and assist in testing and validation activities, including Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL).
* Support the preparation and organisation of technical documentation.
* Participate in team meetings and observe engineering workflows and design review processes.## Required Knowledge / Skills
* Basic knowledge of control systems theory acquired during university studies.
* Introductory knowledge of electric machines and electric drives (e.G.
PMSM, induction motors).
* Basic understanding of power electronics fundamentals.
* Introductory experience with modeling and simulation tools (e.G.
MATLAB/Simulink).
* Basic knowledge of programming concepts (C/C++ or Python – academic level).
* Interest in control systems and electric propulsion technologies.
