The YGL program
We look for YGLs at a creative stage in their careers, to help them to fully realize their potential and generate innovation and value through cutting-edge research. Our institutional funds will allow them to develop science based on inspiration, built on high quality work, rather than fashionable research trends.
Young group leaders (YGLs) are the core of IIGM.They are expected to conduct innovative studies in biomedical research, with an emphasis on cancer. YGLs receive a core package, and we expect them after a start-up phase to attract additional external resources. YGLs will devote themselves to shape their own science and scientific career, and contribute to operational and administrative aspects atIIGM.

Requisiti:
Person specification
An advanced degree (PhD or equivalent) and experience conducting research in a relevant field is required, with a comproved demonstration of excellence in science. We welcome applications from early-career scientists.
Scientific areas of interest
Cancer biology is the main focus of the research activity of IIGM.
We are looking to both computational and experimental scientists, and welcome scientists bringing interdisciplinary approaches.
