Ricerca Maitre per Leonardo Trulli Resort - Locorotondo (BARI): Objectives of the role: 1. Ensure excellent customer service, taking care of every detail of the dining experience, from courtesy to operational efficiency. 2. Coordinate and motivate the dining room team, promoting a positive, professional and collaborative working environment. 3. Optimise the organisation of the service, ensuring short waiting times, synchronisation with the kitchen and compliance with quality standards. 4. Managing customer relations, welcoming customers impeccably, resolving any complaints promptly and promoting loyalty. 5. Contributing to the achievement of the restaurant's economic objectives, improving operational efficiency, monitoring room costs and boosting sales (e.g. upselling wines or special dishes). 7. Facilitating ongoing staff training, through coaching, briefings and updates on service techniques and menu offerings. Responsibilities of the role: (a) Organise and supervise room service, ensuring that quality standards are met. b) Managing and coordinating the wait staff (waiters, commis, sommeliers, etc.). c) Greeting customers and handling reservations and complaints in a professional manner. d) Collaborating with the chef and the kitchen for smooth and coordinated service. e) Managing the set-up of the room and compliance with health and hygiene regulations. f) Ensuring the continuous training of the dining room staff. g) Controlling service costs (staff hours, material consumption, etc.).
